Codemaster’s next game, Grid 2, which will soon be released, has broken the record of priciest pre-order offer in the history of gaming. The 200,000 dollar (125,000 pounds or 150,000 euros) Grid 2: Mono Edition contains a copy of the game, a PS3 and a road-legal F1-like supercar, named the BAC Mono, which has been customized with the colours and logo of Grid 2. The Mono will accelerat from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and it has 285 bhp. If you were planning on buying one of these already, do it through this pre-order because you get to skip the 18 month long waiting list. Hurry, though, because there will only be one pre-order package in the whole world, so technically you could say you’re the biggest Grid 2 fan if you own it.
If you have pre-ordered Metro: Last Light on Steam, you will get a free digital novel as soon as you validate the game. The novel you will receive is Metro 2033, the novel that has inspired the game with the same name. It was written by Dmitry Glukhovsky, who has also published Metro 2034. His next graphic novel will be available somewhere later this year and is called Metro 2035.
UK gamers rejoice! The UK supermarket chain ASDA now accepts pre-orders for the new PS4, which is rumoured to release by the end of the year or the beginning of next year (which is more unlikely since everyone will want a PS4 for Christmas and Sony won’t let that opportunity slip away). For just £20 deposit you can ensure your very own PS4 on the day of release.
